Operation Give and Grow (OGG) is a charitable Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) registered in Kenya in 2007 under Registration Certificate No. OP 218/051/2006/0517/4725 under the NGO Co-ordination Act Cap 19 of 1990 of the Laws of Kenya which gives humanitarian aid to the needy and the disadvantaged within our society from time to time in terms of relief food medical assistance and any other humanitarian assistance to sustain individual livelihoods and assist in the growth of self sustaining projects to eliminate the suffering of various individuals and societies within Kenya.
Operation Give and Grow (OGG) was set up to improve on the wellbeing of the society, necessarily on matters where children are involved.
Reverend Teresia Wairimu, the vision bearer of OGG, saw it as an essential stepping stone to come up with a platform to adress issues such as young children not going to school, young orphans looking for jobs to raise feed and educate their siblings. Children could not even afford to have three meals a day. She had and still has a vision where she sees all children, irrespective of the social and financial backgrounds given a chance to influence change in their individual societies.
